My family of 12 stayed at Massanutten Resort for a little over a week as part of a deed based gold membership timeshare in the woodstone condos. It was a good, fun trip overall; but let us start with the not so great things.

- On arrival to the condo, one of the master beds had a more then noticeable bulge in it, we contacted Massanutten and by that night the mattress had been replaced.

- Dripping Skinks, each side of the Condo F and P of Condo 362, had dripping sinks which we reported to maintenance which they came and "fixed". Although they were still dripping, but manageable.

- New $100 Usage Fee, this year a new $100 Usage fee had been added, without any notice to my family. That was a little bit annoying.

Now those three things we were able to put up with. On the other hand, Massanutten had a great selection of things you could do during your stay, all though most of them were a little pricy considering where you where staying and all the fees you already had to pay. But the one thing I absolutely will not stand for is my family being bombarded in an un-professional manner over switching from a deed to a points-based timeshare. This means when we are asked if we want to listen to your sales pitch and we say so thank you, you are expected to respect that and move on. NOT say "Well then enjoy spending your money." In a snarky manner.

Now the good things,

!!!Special thanks to NACY from Massanutten River Adventures, some of my family did the slow river tubing and she was the best tour guide I have ever had in my life, she gave us information about the resort and surrounding area, restaurants and other things we could do for fun. She of all people should be getting a raise!!!

Escape Room - We did one of the escape rooms, which was really fun and well thought out props to the young lady who hosted us.

Mini Golf/Go Karts - Great golf course little pricy but not bad, same goes with the Go Karts.

Rec/Fitness Center - Great Basketball court, pools, and tennis courts all which were free with the Recreation pass.

Water Park - Great water park and not very busy at night, a little pricy during the day but not to bad.

Overall would I recommend Massanutten? Yes, however, they have some work to do to "Strive for 5"
