Honestly, I want to love this place, but there have just been too many issues to give a fully positive review. I'll admit that the building itself is beautiful, and it's in a great location in the downtown area. I moved into a newly remodeled one bedroom apartment last August. Over the course of the year, I had 5 leaks occur with a ruptured hot water tank, leaking AC drainage line, bath tub spout behind wall, and toilet seal. It took days for the hot water tank to be fixed, even though it was flowing mass amounts of water into the wall & raising my electric bill. My bathroom ceiling was left damaged, and rust stains were splattered all over the tile flooring. I had to scrub it clean after work. I get that issues do happen, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt hoping that they'd improve. There was also a huge water link break that damaged seven floors of the building (this tells me that there's possibly a plumbing issue). Fast forward to now (August 2020), I decided to give the property another chance and transferred into a larger one bedroom. Upon move in to the new unit, my kitchen sink was leaking all over the counter and to the underneath of the cabinet, the drains are emitting a strong sewage gas odor, the AC was malfunctioning (fixed), and the pressure valve on my water line was/still is leaking. I had to put in multiple work orders for the same issues several times. Maintenance tends to pop quickly with some quick fix that never seems to work, then seem irritated when you have to call them back to fix it again. I live and work for home a majority of the time, so this place is not only my work place but my sanctuary to relax after my work day. The added stress is not needed. I will say that Katie and Laura have always been pleasant to work with, and I don't place the blame on them for any of the maintenance issues. I'm really hoping they work to improve, because I love my apartment and the views. I'm just frustrated with the professionalism from management and the maintenance staff when it comes to addressing issues correctly the first time. I'll come back to update my experience within the next few months. Here's to hoping things improve.
