This place was poppin' and lively on a fine sunny and moderately warm California coast day. As we approached this marvelous establishment, there was an immediate sense of popularity, familiarity and longing to be. The front parking lot was converted into a multitude of safely distanced tables...and they were all full...a good sign indeed! The wait staff was friendly and answered our questions and placed us on the waitlist which was about 15 minutes. Shortly after, we were seated at a table with a fantastic Pacific Ocean view chock full of sea birds and crashing waves and boats. The waitress was very friendly and patient and took our order promptly. The social distancing between the tables, staff and patrons was well done and no one seemed to doubt how well the system works. Some dining establishments can claim to "follow CDC guidelines" etc, but these guys took things extra serious, safe and with integrity. Ok, on to the beer....FANTASTIC! The loving two of us each ordered two different types and they were all absolutely fantastic! The beers all had their unique and fresh take on how well craft brew can be and should be. Next was the food...shrimp and chips and the dungeness crab sammich....WOW! FRESH FRESH FRESH TASTY TASTY MAGICAL is what was going on in our heads. Clearly, this place is so popular that the stock of items and ingredients are constantly being ordered and not left to decease inside some sad cold storage unit, another ++. Overall, this defines what a microbrewery/restaurant should be and why such places continue to thrice even during these unprecedented times.
