I just want to let the community know that I've had to be here an uncountable amount of times and numerous hospitalizations, latest in Jan 16 2018 . Where I was in the emergency room, left by a nurse to get a phone call saying she would come back, I was left in a bed of urine! She never came back! A friend was with me who just happened to be there with her mother when she died last. So she cleaned me and my bed up! And then I got to the floor, it took several hours to get anything for pain beforehand in ER, and took 3x longer for them to do any pain control, then Dr wasn't getting back to nurses they said ( blame game). Nurse who did my intake on floor I told I immediately wanted to talk to Hsptl nursing admin on duty, she said she'd get her... Next time I see her I think she's got that person- nope, is shift change giving report! I had had the entire stay there like that... everytime even asked for patient rep. They never came either so instead i was told i could call a number... are u kidding me?! I've been humiliated, inhumanely treated, disgraced, put into tears and will never forget this.. to add to being sick all at where i was spose to be to get treated to get better! I decided that even after they said I needed to stay another day it was truly in my BEST INTEREST to go home and take my chances. And even as a critical health patient I am sick and reluctant to seek healthcare because of the final hospitalization. There had been many others similar but this one took the cake. I'm done. If you love someone stay with them while they are there and demand they get treated with dignity, respect, humanely and seriously.
