I try to leave fair, honest, and accurate reviews....

I try to leave fair, honest, and accurate reviews. We attempted to get a quote from President Container. They promised a quote in days and it took months of repeated contacts to get a sloppy partial photo of a quote we never fully got. We continued placing orders with our original supplier. Months later we had numerous significant unexplained charges to our credit card from PCG. It turned out they had bought our supplier, but their charges did not line up with any of our subsequent purchase orders. Several calls and emails in attempt to figure this out were ignored.

The mess of billing turned into 3 employees at my company spending over 12 hours total compiling + pouring over transactions, comparing quote pricing, to PO's to invoices, to CC charges without descriptions, trying to make sense of charges that had no apparent connection to anything. After numerous attempts to get customer service, I had to BCC high up managers in the company I found on the web in an email to get any response at all. We finally got a representative and give him the information needed, he said he had some ideas and would call us with a full explanation and solution. Surprise! He never called back. (No, I'm not surprised at this point, just OH so disappointed.) I still have a stack of 30+ pages of purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, and credit card charges sitting on my desk assembled by the crew here. My personal disappointment is such that here I am taking even MORE time from my company to write this review.

What we were able to determine during that brief moment when they actually bothered to pay attention to our concerns was that they had: Shipped boxes by freight that were too light to need freight and charged us for it. Our PO's specifically requested ALL our orders be shipped via UPS collect shipping on our own account that we provided. PCG just arbitrarily ignored our instructions and charged us for their private freight shipping instead (but only sometimes). They charged us minimum order quantity charges on orders without any prior notification of a minimum order quantity existing. They charged us for both freight AND UPS on one order. They charged us prices that didn't match the quote from our supplier, or their own quote. In short, they were as unhelpful, unorganized, wrong, and offensively dismissive, as they could possibly be in terms of service and billing, but somehow always at their benefit by hundreds of dollars.

My advice, steer clear unless you have lots of free time to micromanage how you get billed by suppliers of cardboard and tape, or you just don't care about being habitually over-charged by a disorganized company that is good at billing and bad at explaining why. I gave them every reasonable and unreasonable chance to resolve this and all that happened was they wasted my companies time and money.

Now, personally, my only recourse on a personal level is to leave a review and hope to get a consolation prize of saving you all some time, headaches, and money. It's my favor to you for reading this far and doing your due diligence. Best of luck, and good day.

Update: After my review, I was contacted and asked to remove my review, and they offered a reimbursement for the freight charges. They did not offer reimbursement for minimum quantity charges that weren't quoted or specified, they did not offer to correct billing that didn't match quotes from the supplier the order was placed with, or that we got from them. They did not offer any consolation restitution for time/difficulty/horrid customer service. They first tried to reimburse us the shipping charges as credit to use to order with them, we declined that and ultimately the company got something back on the CC. They asked me repeatedly to change/review my review before that happened... and after. It felt ALMOST like any reimbursement was conditional on changing my review.
