I booked with Casals for my wedding this summer. Leading up to the wedding, the staff was very helpful. However, they are not up front about their pricing. For hair and make up, I ended up spending 185 dollars(that s ridiculous!!) because I was the bride, I had the master stylist for hair and makeup, which was not something that was mentioned to me or in any of the paperwork I received. I also was not overly impressed with the updo I received, even after having a trial...where I also spent 185 dollars! So, the wedding ends, I receive a letter in the mail from Casals with a gift card to the salon because they over charged someone. I m not sure how that will equal out, being that I am not from the area and will not be able to use the gift card. I am not one to write negative reviews ever, but brides should be made aware of the pricing changes. By the time I was made aware of the pricing, it was too late to find another salon for my bridal party.
