While the concept of supporting local businesses for its ingredients is fine, the service at Funk n Waffles is horrible. The entire concept is backwards. Customers sit at one of the booths, order, and are given a buzzer. Actual food is ready no earlier than 45 minutes later. And the food is really not very good, waffles are over cooked and not very tasty.

I hope that this successful concept restaurant that provides a place to hang out and enjoy live music, adapts to the needs of some of its customers for timely food.
