The chamber recommended the Grand Traverse Motel to us as a nice place to stay, and within walking distance to downtown. Boy did they lie, the hotel is 1 to 1.5 miles from downtown, most people cant walk that far, and if you did, ate and had a couple of drinks, who wants to walk that far back?????????? The hotel room is small, old tv, no shampoo, no Kleenex, what a dump. So don't believe the chamber for its false advertisement, its not a nice place. I wont trust them again, or be back, what a rip off.
