I have been buying new cars for the last 40 years ...

I have been buying new cars for the last 40 years both for myself and my business. My experience with Dick Scott was the absolute worst I have ever had.

I was promised a Town and Country would be warmed up and ready for my arrival. I was promised this was a no nonsense dealership and we will be straight with you. The only way I have ever bought a car.

What a surprise it was upon my arrival that the sales person I was assigned to made me wait at his desk while he was on the phone for 20 minutes (I had an appointment scheduled ahead of time). Then there was no Town and Country waiting for me. I never was offered an opportunity to look at one let alone drive one ! I was told the one I wanted was gone and no others at that internet price available. The salesman took the keys to my trade and left me waiting another 30 minutes assuring me there would be no games. You would think this time would be opportune to allow a customer to look at the vehicle they want to purchase, no chance here. The salesman came back with a low ball offer of half the value of my trade. At that point I had enough and told him so. I told him I would be going to Suburban Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Farmington Hills. Another salesman perked up over the divider and told me he had worked there and they were crooks. More reason for me to run from Dick Scott. I let the customer service person at Dick Scott know about my experience, She assured me she would turn this over to Jason Scott who would call me. Never happened.

What did happen ? I went to Suburban and worked with Scott Showbitz. I got the fair value for my trade not a low ball offer and was driving my new Town and Country in one hour! YES, ONE HOUR! Ten minutes more than the wait time and 20 minutes less than the nonsense at Dick Scott.

Stay away from here. Their service department wrecked one of our cars when it was in for service once. These are not honest people. Do what you say and say what you do. Buying a car should be painless not painful.
