This institute should be careful with the areas and information it handles for its conducted studies have already impacted Lyft and Uber under the assumption that their drivers get paid less than the minimum wage because what the study took in consideration was the earnings per customer on the lowest of the different riding category (the pool) since a few riders participate in that category at the same time- Uber and Lyft reduce the price for the customer at an extremely cheap price but the results from the pool ride share category do not represent the facts about how much an average lyft or uber drivers makes. If Uber would not be able to debaunke the MIT study assumptions then the customer would be the only one impacted as a result of myths and assumptions.
