One of the nicest hotels in New York marble head to toe and at least 300 million$ worth antiques in the hallways and rooms. My first stay was smooth and enjoyable, although very very pricy, my second stay was horrible marriot platinum are entitled to a free upgrade and double upgrade option which they didn't provide, and they overcharged the room with a 25% thanksgiving fee!? They paid up in small claims courts, also not to mention they refused to deliver a rollaway to our suite so my 12 year old daughter slept on the couch . Left the hotel and ran away to chatwal right down the street. St Regis, fire your manager please. Lastly the street noise of construction outside began at 3 am in the night and they refused to move us to a higher floor room. Overall, the price reflects the once in a lifetime experience, however don't expect any special treatment from the staff
