Used the Plastiq service only to meet minimum spend requirements on a new credit card. My card was charged twice, and when I reached out to "customer service" via email, they stated that the initial transaction was suspended and to call the bank because "they have no intention of taking the money" However, my bank confirmed that both charges were fully withdrawn.
Also, my payment still hasn't been received by the recipient, when the confirmation stated it would be received by June 1st. So at this point, not only have the funds been withdrawn twice, but they payment hasn't even been made.
There is no customer service support. I have sent 3 emails that have not been responded to, there is no contact phone number for customer service, and the "live chat" can not handle the volume of customers. They also clearly don't care about their customer, as you can see here that they ONLY respond to positive reviews. Definitely should have read the reviews first. Do not use if you have bills that actually need to be paid in a timely manner. Disappointing.
