I m sorry, but I just can t trust MIT Medical again. I went in a couple weeks ago because I was showing extreme signs of chills and not being to stay awake. MIT Medical diagnosed me with dehydration (no shir, I couldn t get out bed to get water), and let me go after giving me some fluid and a gatorade. They did this even after measuring my blood pressure and seeing a horrifyingly low number of 50/something. When I got home, I passed out, and ended up in the ER a day later, with a diagnosis of sepsis (which is apparently DEADLY). I m very lucky to be alive, I attribute it to my sister who realized something was very wrong right away and urged my roommates to check on me. But I just feel that by ignoring my symptoms, MIT Medical essentially killed me. I didn t know what was going on and trusted them to help, but they did not. Please at least call an ambulance next time you don t know, I don t want more parients to die because of your incompetence. Sorry for the harsh words, but I believe they re true, I feel extremely scarred and am terrified of MIT Medical. Love, Rachel.
