I've been working for Varsity Tutors for a little over a month now, and the entire time has been a really great experience. Easily the best part about it is that I get to make my own hours and choose the students that I want to tutor. When I started working for them, my finals were coming up so I chose to only work a few hours a week with a couple of students, but as soon as school came to an end, I was able to take on tutoring for at least a few hours a day. It's really great if you don't have a set schedule throughout the year like me, and need to frequently change your availability. It's also really convenient that I get a detailed description of the student before picking them, this way if I don't think I'd be a great fit for them I can just say that I'm not interested. What's even better than that, is that since I have offered to tutor online, I get enough offers for new students that I'm never worried if I'm not interested in tutoring a particular student. I've had a tutoring jobs and job offers before, and I can easily say that this is the best one I've had in terms of salary, hours, getting students, and even working with the personnel at Varsity Tutors.
