I have been reading some of the reviews. I have been in and out of VA clinics for 19 years now. And I will say this is the cleanest , best kept facility so far. I understand it is new and that does make a difference. But I have been to other where the facilities they are falling apart. Wings are closed , buildings are caving in ( look the Tuskegee facility for example) . Nice folks there.
As far as patient service here goes. So far I can not complain. There could be better communication between doctors. On when to schedule patients for certain needs.
Also if a patient is in need of mental health. There needs to be more staff. Or possiblely a better system to handle this.
I was in need of this service earlier this year. I was told to either try and schedule an appointment. Or become a walk in, I chose neither. An appointment was going to be ways out. And to become a walk in that day meant I would not be seen.
Maybe they can have a volunteer service of some kind. Just so Veterans can speak their mind. Or let off some steam...I don't know. Just a suggestion...
All in all pretty thankful for the service ice provided.
