Notice most of these ratings are from staff, not victims. I was really excited about this place. All the reviews looked good, website nice, and by no stretch of the imagination do I expect any rehab or nursing facility to knock my socks off because nobody will care for your loved ones like people who really love them....but...this place has a very interesting dynamic. The admissions department was great, 90% of the CNA staff is extremely rude, lacks empathy, and ignores you while you talk, 40% of the RN staff if rude, unresponsive and short, the internal medicine physician that I encountered cuts you off while you talk, like you can t even get .25% of a word out, the rooms stay at 40 degrees, and when you mention how cold it is your told that nothing can be done, the social workers lack empathy, aren t very helpful, and won t go the extra mile...well they might if your the right color......, PT/Occupational Health also exhibits a sense of entitlement and racial undertone. This being said, the facility is clean, and food looks good, so if that s all that matters to you, then you re in the right place. I wouldn t recommend for minorities, and if your loved one is a minority then stay with them because there is a lot of questionable behavior. Discharge is even worse. The social worker will promise things that she won t follow-through with then laugh about it, they ll leave the clothing soaked in urine, you have to ask for the medicines to take home, etc If you love your loved ones, don t bring them here. All that glitters is definitely not gold.
