I first visited the Whalehead Club in 1997 or so when it was open to the public but not yet restored, and it was enchanting even then. It was great to see it in its full glory. The audio tour was really interesting and engaging (I get bored with that sort of thing, typically), and included nice historical tidbits and sound effects. My boyfriend and I were so glad we took the time to see this beautiful place!
