The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, honestly 10/10 visually but this supposed top of the line resort has many flaws. Our biggest problem came when attending the resorts beach/pool side bar. The bar servers barely attend to you and if you order drinks in the pool don t expect them to check in with you unless you physically get out of the pool to order more drinks. Also, idk if it was only us or they treat others as such, but it felt that because we didn t speak French or Tahitian we were looked down upon, made fun of as well as ignored. The reveiw towards the bar servers is in no reflection of other staff of the resort. The concierge, room service, and breakfast employees were very kind just to clarify. When it comes to the food and drinks of the resort of course they were going to be more expensive and that was the case but the quality of the food is no where near the price. No matter at the bar, breakfast restaurant or any other food service on the resort, the food just wasn t up to the standards of a 3800+ f ($380+) a night resort. Some examples would be, a breakfast for 2 is 8200 f ($82) which is a buffet but it had very few options. Any fruity drink is going to be at least 2000 f ($20). Plus, if you re drinking at the bar you ll have a 30 minute wait inbetween drinks so you won t get buzzed unless you pre drink before hand. On the very picky side, with Tahiti being so hot and so humid, the pools are more warm than cold leaving the only place to escape the heat is your room with ac; or the bathroom in the lobby which randomly but thankfully also has ac.
