Its clean, but its a bit too old for my taste. I've been to historic hotels that have been touched up before (and still kept their character) but this was different, it just came off as old and rusty instead of historic. The food was also terrible. It was already cold by the time it got to my room and it felt like someone just put frozen food in the microwave. Having said that, its not too bad.
