We are members and find the membership very good value as we come at least once a month, often once a week during summer. It's pricey but my three year old has never become bored of it, so very much worth the money. It has helped him learn more about the world around him. It doesn't have many big animals but when you take into account bug world, the Aquarium etc there is more than enough to keep the family occupied for the day. I recommend getting combined membership with the Wild Place, which has a small number of animals at the moment but plans to increase - and they are all big interesting animals from a kid's perspective
