If I could give a zero star rating I would. I am from out of town and arrived at the ER at 10:30am. I know it can take some time to be seen at an ER but I had been in a great deal of pain over a month and it had really ramped up them week I was in Orange with my daughter whom I had to leave at the hotel we were staying at with another family while I went to the ER. Here are my issues...1) Once they took me back I met with a resident and the supervising doctor for LESS than 3 minutes while she took notes on her computer and asked questions and ordered labs and a CT. Its important to note that was the ONLY time I saw a doctor there. I was then taken to a room with chairs where triage patients arrived. I waited in this room for 8 hours - I was asked to give a urine sample and when I went to the ONLY bathroom on the ER floor I opened the door and there was blood everywhere....IN the toilet, on the walls, on the floor. I told someone about it and no one saw an urgent need to close it down and/or clean it up serious BBP issues here!!! Then after about 6 hours of waiting I finally had my CT scan done. SO I sat with patients who clearly had mental and drug issues while they came and went out of the ER and I waited and waited. At 9PM after waiting just to get my results and still not having any answers to my complaint and also not offered any water OR food (not even a lousy cracker - Thanks to the two women sitting next to me who BOUGHT me a water and a donut to eat!), I had enough, told the nurse to remove the needle that I am leaving. He came in took out the IV and said "Sorry we are busy" and left. WOW! I have never ever experienced not only a poorly ran ER but one that has major issues with cleanliness and patient safety. Go anywhere but here if you want good quality care - because this is not the place to get it if you have to go to the ER
