I sent a web request and was assigned to a member ...

I sent a web request and was assigned to a member of the sales team named Kristine. The receptionist was extremely pleasant and had great follow up. However, Kristine left a lot to be desired. I had a 7p appointment, arrived on time and had to wait because she was already dealing with another customer. I was understanding and she offered to have my vehicle appraised while I waited. After about 30 minutes, she came back and asked a few questions about monthly payment and upfronts. I was explicit in what my expectations of payment was and what vehicle I was looking for. She said that she would call me tomorrow because "All the good bank people wouldn't be in til the morning anyway." Okay. Again, I understood and awaited her call the next day.

When Kristine called me back, she gave me payment options that were outside of what I had requested. It's not my first rodeo, so I started to negotiate. She wasn't thrilled with this. Instead of her suggesting alternatives of ways we could make this work or any other way of trying to recoup the sale, she advised me that "This is a popular vehicle. We CAN sell this vehicle to someone else." I was appalled!!!! I ended up going to another dealer, where I drove away in what I wanted with a great deal.

No follow up to this day from anyone at Suburban to try to see what my experience was like or if I had been properly served. I had previously leased a vehicle from Suburban, which is why I went there first, but thanks to Kristine I won't be back. Feel free to sell to someone else.
