Sitting here waiting for my 6 week appointment at the Hampton Wellness Centre for Lyme and I see the book on the waiting room table my Dr. took part in writing.
So exciting...Dr. Marie Matheson of the Hampton Wellness Centre gave me hope when I had none. She dried my tears and held my hand and promised me I would get better.... and I have.
She saved my life. A life I didn't want to live anymore.
It's a big deal. She's a big deal.
There are alternatives for health care. I hope one day that conventional Drs. and Holistic Drs. can work together for the benefit of their patients. I attended an essential oils conference in Toronto and a US Dr. actually gives his patients the option of how they want to be treated. And he supports both. There is a need for both. When I thought I had run out...I'm glad I had the option. And now my family will be turning to the Hampton Wellness Centre again for the treatment of our daughter and her recent "diagnosis" of Lyme. I'm not so scared this time around.

Oh and I just realized it's Happy Lyme Anniversary to me !! It's been one year since I'd been diagnosed. I am thankful for this gift. I truly am.
It's made me a better person by a million.
