We visited years ago when they still gave guided tours and that was much more enjoyable. Now you can visit the observation deck for free but it's not enjoyable. If you get there at a busy time it's two windows that everyone crowds around. You can get a scoop of ice cream for $1 and the kids like buying scented pencils in the factory store. I've only returned when guests from out of town have asked to go out to Brenham. It's not bad but not worth the hour long drive in my opinion.
