This was the best experience and my favorite thing about Cambridge. My friends and I decided to go punting on a hot sunny day after afternoon tea, and I m so glad we did!! The tour guide gave us so much information about the university, and made the overall journey enjoyable! (Shoutout to Jessie D!!!) The best part about the tour is that they allow you to bring whatever beverages you want on the boat (including alcohol)!! Sitting in the boat is very relaxing and it s such a great experience. If you re visiting Cambridge this is a MUST do!! They also do a student discount for all my students out there traveling on a budget :) the only downside was that it could be a bit more organized with times and groups.
