I purchased my 2013 Equinox at Jim Butler and have taken it there for every oil change. Most recently my last 3 oil changes the wait (with appt) I have waited if not 2 hours, 1 hour and 50 mins. Each time I get up to ask is my vehicle was ready , on my last visit (6/2018) 2 workers were standing around talking, one said to me, he was just about to inform me my car was completed. Little did I know when going to my unlocked truck that my key bob had been pushed all the way through by one of the service men. On the next business day which was Monday, I called and spoke with the service manager Bill who told me that sometimes the guys do punch too hard and accidents do happen. I explained to the service manager that this happen on their watch and how unprofessional it is to discover that a service person broken the key bob and let me discover this on my own. The service manager said I could bring it in for repair no appt needed. Two days later I bring the broken key bob in, waited 15 mins only to be told that The service manager was gone but was notified of the situation and there was nothing that could be done. Mind you it took me 1 hour drive to get to jim butlers. I was also told that it was bound to happen eventually, it so happen to be that day., and if the workers did push too hard they would have said something, because they don t want to get fired. So THIS long standing used to be customer who drove 1 hour, that could not get their key bob fixed is a liar. From that moment on I will never patronized jim butler and will tell everyone I know including my large family to tell their family and friends never give jim butler business. I vowed to use social media, inform a good friend of mine who is a salesmen at Weber Chevrolet to tell my story and deter customers from using Jim Butler. How sad that a service worker can break your personal belongins, the service manager drops the ball along with the worker who normally checks me in and out on oil changes. If this is what customer service has gone too, what an all time low. I give 1 star and thats for Having free water bottle.
