I attended a Holiday luncheon with my work group at Prestonwood. The dining hall was beautiful as was the staff. From the buffet, I can't say the food was to my liking. I found some of the meats to be dry and a but tough, while some of the sides were cold. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and when I went to take a sip of my drink, I found an ant on my lemon. When I called it to the attention of the server who was assigned our table, he was very apologetic. At the time, he did not offer me anything more. Later when he came to refill the table's drinks, he apologized again and asked if I wanted anything else. A few moments after that, the floor manager, I think, who was an older African American woman came over and apologized. She offered to remove one meal from the "members" lunch tab. And that was that. That was satisfactory for the member, but what about the person who had the bad experience.

All in all, the event was nice and my co-workers all seemed to enjoy the outing. As I said, the wait staff but was very apologetic, but I feel as if more could have been done.
