It was just okay. Beautiful views from the room and a quick walk to the main street of the town. The staff was friendly but seemed a little under trained and no organization / care of standardization of operation and presentation. As others have said our jacuzzi room was in disrepair and kind of dirty. The jacuzzi was retrofit and the electrical panel is right next to the jacuzzi with no working ventilation for the steam to exhaust from the room properly. Seemed very unsafe. The walls had stains and a lot of drywall repair needs to be made. The closet door directly right of the entry door to our room fell on me which was lovely. Thankfully I'm a handyman and put it back on the track. The bathroom needs a lot of work. The sink was falling off of the wall and pulling the mirror with it. The shower grout was black in some spots. The toilet was very far away from the toilet paper holder which made using the restroom awkward for a good #2. All of the fixtures were rusted or showing signs of heavy oxidation and build up. The elevator to the 3rd floor from the main lobby also decided to start going up with us inside and the doors still open. That was a bit interesting to say the least. The doors to the elevator are also out of adjustment and a small child could easily put their hand through the gap in the doors while it is in operation.

Charming location and nice people but it needs a good cleaning, updating, and some SOPs put in place for operations and presentation. Not worth the $250 per night we paid. The owner could have taken the money from the new $60k+ shuttle SUV and at least invested that into all of the drywall repairs and maintenance the establishment needs.

I think we are a one and done stay unless the hotel undergoes some management changes and updates.
