The finest place I ever worked. I spent 7 years at Focus: Hope in the 90's, and goty to know the founders. This is the best organization I ever worked at. Their mission is one of practical action to overcome poverty and reacism in Metro Detroit, and they are, I believe, the most effective organization in Detroit. Their belief in practical action (make change, not protest marches) is seen by their educational programs as well as the supplimental food programs for seniors, pregnant women and children.
