My Uncle Robert was sent to this hospital from first community for continued care. He was in there for several weeks. He went from the 5th floor down to HAU and then back to the 5th floor before he was released. I visited him nearly every day. All the staff here was absolutely the best, not only did they give him the best of care, they even protected him from people who were only there for money. I have to say that all the nurses and staff all together were fantastic. However I would like to acknowledge three exceptional staff members that I dealt with on a daily basis. The receptionist Terry was fantastic, she was always nice and friendly and she definitely went above and beyond her duties trying to keep him safe and protected. Nurse Darlene on the fifth floor, was also so respectful and nice and again went above and beyond her duties which meant the world to me that someone that incredible was caring for him. When he got worse and was sent to HAU, nurse Anita was exceptional, kind, respectful and caring exactly the kind of people you want caring for your loved ones.
