I moved from California to Hawaii since 1963 and the changes that evolved during the years are for the good. I followed Kahuku Football for along period of time because of the Power House program and athletes that comes out of that country school. To see that the athletic field or football field not being fixed for the upcoming athletes is mind boggling. With all the State Football Championships and OIA, you would think that the State would help because Kahuku High School represents the State well in their athletics and academics programs. The leaders of the school should consider taking a good look at the head coach for the football team. How can you drop from being so dominant to not making it to the Championship. Obvious he has good assistant coaches. I watch when he first started coaching the varsity team, he started really bad because he wanted to do everything himself. Once he started to let his assist coaches coach, they became successful.
