Review of Campo Verde

There are things I like about this place and thing...

There are things I like about this place and things I don't.

Pros:
-The atmosphere is super fun with all the lights and the train.
-They have good waitstaff. (I still sing the praises of one awesome teenager who kept his cool when my infant daughter randomly threw up everywhere...bless that kid for helping a struggling mama instead of declaring it's not his job.)
-The prices are very reasonable.

Cons:
-The food is rather mediocre... although sometimes it hits the spot when you just want a greasy beef enchilada. No shame.
-Parking can be limited and very annoying to navigate.
-The beer selection is rather lacking, although for what this restaurant is it totally makes sense.
-It can take a while to check out, especially if the cash register isn't manned when you walk up.

Overall, my husband and I haven't gone back in many months because of the food quality issue. We've decided that we'd love to show our toddler the lights and train, but it would be better to stick to appetizers since greasy food makes him sick now. Ah, the joys of getting older.
