Thank you Mark and Natasha for a lovely stay in Mountainside Lodge! We never got to meet you both because we never had an issue, which is exactly what we were looking for on vacation. We always like to stay in smaller family-owned locations where there won't be too many other travelers, and that's exactly what we got while staying here. I've read a few of the lower-rated reviews, and can say that our windows did lock, our room was actually quite quiet (we were on the first floor), the beds were a bit firm (but after hiking 9 miles each day it didn't even matter!), and we loved having the kitchen (and outdoor gas grills) because it saved so much money for food. The office was stocked with so many movies/books and extra supplies that we never even had to contact the property manager or the owners. We checked ourselves in and checked ourselves out! Thanks again for a wonderful stay away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area!
