It's nice to see good reviews. I went to BMW Saskatoon for repairs to my 2000 BMW Z3 roadster, cute and yellow. After work was done cust. service girl offered to move my goods from complementary car to my car so I asked her to pull out my car from its parking space and I would park their car in its place. She was out of the car, had backed it out, and told me the seat was all the way to the back position and would I be able to drive it like that. I said no as I'm only 5'3" and my seat had been working just fine before I came. I've owned the car for 2 years. A mechanic came out and reached under the seat and pulled out some sort of rod. He had to adjust the seat with a very slow noisy motor for the seat to get it into a position where I could drive it. Cust. Service girl told me the parts would be ordered and BMW would take care of the work and the costs. The mechanic said it may not just need a new motor it may need a whole new seat. Two days later the Cust. Service girl contacted me to say that the Service Manager and Manager were not going to fix my car for free and that I should come in for an estimate. She told me the parts and labour for motor would cost $1000. I said "NO THANKS". I emailed the service manager and manager and have had no reply. I talked to the mechanic and asked him if he worked on my car, gave info, and he said he works on a lot of cars so wouldn't remember. I said, "You mean you don't remember that cute little yellow convertible?" and he said that yes he did. I asked him if he did the work on it and he said Yes. I then asked him if he moved the car into the service area from the parking lot and he said No. I then asked him who did move it in and he then said that he did. I asked him if he moved the seat back to drive it and he told me they don't allow the mechanics to move the seats. (I really do wonder how he got himself into that small car with the seat forward) He then volunteered that the car went to be washed and vacuumed after he finished. (Obviously trying to blame them) I don't care who did the damage. I just know it was in BMW's care and I didn't get it back in the same working condition that I took it in. I have put this complaint on their site as well. I just want everyone to know how this dealership has treated me. I will take it to small claims court but why should I have to do that?
