Even though you're frequently lectured on how all you humans are evil and destroying nature (do they want us all to just die?), my family maintains a membership because we love to watch the wide variety of animals (it's not hard to tune-out the environmental rubbish). Like all large museums and parks, it's best to visit frequently for a partial-day rather than trying to fit-in all the attractions in to one long tiring day--something a membership offers.

It's better to go when it's not busy when it's much more quiet and you don't have to weave through crowds of screaming, unsupervised children. Weekdays and early Sunday mornings are usually best.

We don't dine there much, so I cannot review the food. Bathrooms have always been above average (clean, roomy) when I've used them.
