After traveling from New Zealand we arrived at the hotel in Sydney for an overnight stay in preparation for our flight back to the United States. We arrived in Sydney early in the morning and had concerns as to whether the hotel would accommodate an early check in. Our room was not yet available, however we were able to upgrade to a room that was available. This was my first stay at a Shangri-La Hotel and I did not know what to expect. The accommodations met my expectations and was on or above par of what I have come to expect of 4-5 star hotels. The staff was professional knowledgeable and courteous. The room amenities were well suited and accommodating. The location was within walking distance of many of the sights i wanted to see. I will add the Shangri-La Hotel to my list of preferred hotels.
