One of our best stays. My partner and I stayed here with my little cat, Winston over the long weekend for his surprise birthday. Staff were lovely and the Mt Sturgeon cottage was so cosy and comfortable. We loved the personalised card from the staff, breakfast pack and the fire place was great. We also ate at the Parker St restaurant as we couldn t get a booking at Wickens. It didn t matter. The food and the wine was absolutely fantastic, and the service was also great. We got to do the wine cellar tour and garden tour as part of our stay and all I can say was that not only were we impressed with the amount of work and effort that goes into their plans for sustainability, but their time spent sharing their knowledge and passion was invaluable. My partner and I really enjoyed it and learnt so much from our stay. As it was a public holiday we couldn t see the Wildlife tour, but the reception was happy for us to have a peek anyway, which was lovely. All in all, such a beautiful place to detox and relax with no tv or wifi, with the back drop of southern Grampians. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
