Switched from nbn to iiNet's FTTB today, and tripled my average download speed. I was a bit wary because my switch from ADSL to nbn a few years ago was a shocker, but this time was the complete opposite.
From sales call Monday evening to activation Friday morning, they have definitely nailed the provisioning this time around - confirmation texts and emails received while i was still on the phone with sales; modem dispatched next day; modem delivered the day after that; text Thurs arvo confirming appointment and another one at 8am to say "I'll be at your door in 5 minutes".
Speed not as good as expected with max 82 Mbps down and 29 Mbps up, (the sales pitch referred to 82 Mbps as the average speed on NBN100 which iiNet Ultra was supposed to leave for dust) but still way better than my NBN100/40 plan which only reached 40/40 on a good day.
