Excellent service from everyone on the staff. Cafe Lombardy their restaurant had a limited menu but my experience with breakfast, lunch and dinner over a several day stay was that food was prepared with care and very good at reasonable prices for DC. Rooms are laid out in a quaint manner but result in quiet environment. Hotel is 3 blocks from the White House next to James Monroe's town house.
