Horrible return policy!
I bought a mattress and after 2 days I decided that I'd much rather upgrade to a premium memory foam bed. I tried to return the mattress (still in original plastic, with receipt) and upgrade to a more expensive bed. They told me I would be charged a 30% restocking fee. Yes I did buy their $125 mattress protector to qualify for the "comfort guarantee"
I am a share holder and wanted to upgrade to a more expensive bed while the shareholder sale will still active. They told me 30% to return after 2 days or if I wait 30+ days I can return for a flat $149 fee.
I knew about the 30-120 day comfort guarantee where you pay $149 to exchange for a different bed but how could they possibly charge more for returning it sooner?!
Between the poor customer service and commission based sales model I wont buy there again. Prices weren't nothing special anyways.
UPDATE:they called me and said I could bring it back for full credit and upgrade to a better bed. I'm not certain if they called me with the offer because I left a bad review or if it was just by chance. Because they did I raised the review to 3 star. I'm happy they worked it out with me but still think the return policy sucks and should be made clear at time of purchase. Apparently I signed agreeing to the terms but I was awkwardly handed a Ipad out on the sales floor and asked for a signature. I think it should be explained better or be given a easier to read paper copy that clearly states no returns.
