We went for the buffet high tea, which was delightful! I've been to quite a few high teas, and I really enjoyed this one. The one bad thing (which is what I docked a star for) is the scones - they were really heavy and not flakey. Given it's a high tea the scones are really important! But everything else was great :) Service (for taking tea orders, keeping our water topped up, and clearing plates) was excellent and attentive. The buffet part was the best - so many little cakes to choose from! Everything was yummy and there was enough to choose from that everyone had their favourite (we liked the chocolate hazelnut cake the most - so good and so dense!). I'm absolutely planning on going back!
