I did the Philip Island Penguin Parade tour. The Penguin Parade is absolutely worth every second and every penny. The tour group size is relatively small (a little over a dozen). Our guide was Jaden who was extremely friendly and interacted with nicely with everyone. Taken to a few spots I would have never been aware of which is nice. That said I think, I could have done this whole thing on my own if I had a car, although it would have been more of a hassle. Even so, I really like the tour and enjoyed it a lot. No real complaints, although I did note a heavy reliance on GPS to get to most of the locations, so it didn't seem like there was complete familiarity with the route and stops. Also, based on the post tour survey, there seems to be a heavy emphasis on the music played during the trip as I also noted a concerted effort to get select music to play in the bus.
