I was here in January, and was shocked to discover you could smoke inside. I understand that this is somehow common in the city, but there should be warnings in the website and in the hostel's description. I am very allergic and felt horrible the whole time I was there, and had to wash all my clothes after leaving because they all reaked of cigarettes. The whole common area absolutely stank of old smoke, and I couldn't be there for two minutes before getting a headache. You can't smoke in the rooms, but everyone would hang out in the common area and then go to the rooms, and very soon they stank too.
