DO NOT USE THESE SOLICITORS.I am in the process of selling a property in Ipswich to a willing buyer who is using Michael Smith & Co.
Following telephone reminders from both my solicitor and the estate agent my solicitor received an email on 16th October from Michael Smith which read "Thank you for your letters of 19th and 25th September. We shall now review the documents and revert to you shortly with our enquiries." So only after reminders and at least 21 days have they decided that they might deal with the matter "shortly". Its a disgrace. My solicitor Rachel Watson at Birketts takes more like 21 minutes to respond.
Chose your solicitor carefully but do not chose Michael Smith & Co.
