If your shopping for a used car and the paper says...

If your shopping for a used car and the paper says "AS IS".... AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!

Bought a 2010 F150 Lariat Supercrew. Stop into my oil shop for a fluids check and put nitrogen in the tires.... turns out, 1 QT low on oil. Coolant was BROWN, Power Steering fluid was almost black with silver shavings in it and the differentials were never checked... Alignment off, even after I paid for an alignment my steering wheel is still the same halfway from 12 to 1 o'clock pointing. Ball bearing in the front end needed to be replaced and a whole lot other mass problems. Even the PCM is programmed as a King Ranch Edition. After my $1,500 credit, I still had to pay $1,126.00 and I still need to get both my differentials flushed as well as the trans axel...

If they did their "120 point inspection" like they said, then they must have Ray Charles as their head mechanic. Sooo pissed at how much this is gonna cost me to fix.

UPDATE 19 April 2018
So they did a "Safety Inspection" but then once it's sold, it's just over $2,600 in parts and labor to fix the things wrong with it, then try to bring up "Well, how do we know that it was an issue when you purchased it"..... I've had this truck less than a year and Have spend almost half of what I paid for it to Fix things that were wrong when I bought it....
