Initial service review. AC was acting up, called in a tech, Jeremy, who was very helpful in going over the system, what it is doing, how it is working. System is 45 years old, so Jeremy provided several options for repair or replacement. He was very responsive to questions and worked hard to ensure an excellent level of service. Very happy.
Install of new systems is next week, so a follow-up review will be for that aspect of the service.
UPDATE : Install of new HVAC and water heater went well, though we had some vent pipe slope issues that took 3 more trips to finally resolve. Very satisfied with maintenance calls so far.
UPDATE March 2017: Service calls continue to go well. Staff scheduling by Karen and work by Jeff is all top notch.
UPDATE September 2017: Outside AC unit stopped working. Brent G was sent to check it out. Turned out a mouse died and fried the board. :( Brent spent a couple HOURS at the end of a long, hot day getting to that diagnosis. He went the extra mile to provide honest advice once needed fixes were identified. He returned next day to complete the fixes, which were finished quickly. While sad we needed to outlay a chunk of dough to get the systems back up and running, everything else was superb. Very glad we went with Genz-Ryan.
UPDATE March 2020: Had Karim out for the furnace checkup. He was great. Excellent ongoing support from Genz-Ryan.
