My husband and I just had our first son at CMC Union this past Monday on January 4, 2016. We planned to labor and deliver at this location and were greeted with welcoming arms Saturday night after my water broke. The staff were friendly and would do anything they could to help me. I labored for 27 hours (through the weekend) and had to be monitored closely for my son's drop in heart rate. After a successful delivery the staff continued to take care of us in the highest regard; helping me recover and taking care of my newborn son and my tired husband. As each nurse changed as with each new shift, everyone continued to offer their advice on breast feeding and their assistance in any way in the care of myself, my son and my family. We loved Doctor Horton who delivered our son and as we have a lot of family in town; our family loved the facilities and waiting area. We have no complaints on our stay at CMC Union Women's Center(we stayed 5 days total) and we look forward to growing up in the area with the unit in our community.
