This place has a been a long standing cultural institution on the South Side of Chicago. It offers everything from hosting events. plays, art and music. Classes are available in just about everything and it's always done well.

What a great place to catch some theater or music! This local arts center on the south side of Chicago is worth checking out. They offer classes, exhibits, theater, and concerts. I've seen performances in their auditorium and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. You can see the stage from all angles. There are bars located in the lobbies and you can enjoy some wine, beer, or a cocktail during the show. A great family friendly center.

The staff was very helpful. The art displays are great. A little pricey, but a good place to rent for small gatherings. However, they should reconsider their policies on where food is prepared that renters bring in. Non-catered foods should be allowed to be brought into the facility for one's personal events.

It a gem on the south side, I never knew about this place until I chaperone for my daughter's field trip. It's a small venue but perfect for children. The play interacts with the audience and very funny I must say. I think I had more fun than the kids.

My experience with the Beverly Arts Center is quite exceptional. Because of the instruction I received from Prentice Johnson with Group Violin lessons it was excellent and by far the best.

I've enjoyed the B.A.C. for over 20 years. Brought my kids to painting classes with a top-notch local artist, I've attended some of their performances, plus their author talks (which are free) with local authors. An absolute gem on Chicago's near south side.

Varied, excellent movies shown almost every Wednesday evening. Often recent releases not shown south of Madison. $5.00 for members! Great classes and other programs for all ages, kids to seniors, including Jazz and Rock bands, beer and wine tasting events, tai chi and yoga classes and acting seminars. Equal to anything on the North Side! Helps make the neighborhood hum! Highly recommended!

A great time at this lovely place. Went to many theater productions here and they have always impressed me. They have neat classes to take and a lot of activities going on here. Check it out for yourselves.
