This place deserves 6 stars not just 5! Service was beyond amazing - owner took us a to hospital (after our son had an accident), stayed with us for 2 hours and organised everything. Wouldn't take a penny for his time. He gave many suggestions for trips and organised them (at a far lower cost than we saw marketed elsewhere). Evening boat trip is a must as is hiring tuk-tuk for the day.

Him and his daughter took us to local market one day (introducing us to lots of local snacks) and then cooked for us - as good Thai food as we've ever had. Especially the soup .

In between he showed our sons his parrot collection, helped them collect fruit off the trees in the complex and bought and filled an inflatable swimming pool so they could cool off.
