It was a fun zoo! We went on a day when it was 95 degrees out. The animals were all searching for the shade, and after hitting a few areas, we were too! Bring sunscreen on days like that, because you are outside away from cover for most of the time. All of their animals seemed happy and had good sized pens. Also, the people working the zoo were happy to share their knowledge with you. Talk to them! I think they get bored standing around all day not talking to anyone.

Definitely worth the 13 dollars for 1 adult ticket.
